Training and work experience
Burwell Community Print is a social training enterprise, a business that trades for a social purpose.
We aim to provide vocational training and work experience within a sheltered working environment, for
people with learning disabilities, including some people who also have physical disabilities and/or sensory impairment.
At the moment, twenty-four people are registered with us, who attend one or two days a week.
Training is an important part of community-based work experience. For several years we have worked in partnership with
Cambridge Regional College to provide an accredited training programme, and each year many of our printers achieve
certificated modules of the National Skills Profile.
