Magazines and books

Want to publish your memoirs, write a children’s book or maybe monthly magazine? From advice about how to plan the layout through to binding styles, we can help turn your project into print, bringing your ideas to life.

Saddle stitched (staple) binding

Saddle stitched binding is a common and cost effective method used for binding booklets, magazines, and catalogues. In this process, the printed sheets are folded in half and then stapled together along the fold line, which forms the spine of the booklet.

Perfect binding

To create a Perfect Bound booklet, the pages and cover are glued together at the spine with a strong, flexible thermal glue then the remaining sides are trimmed to give clean ‘perfect’ edges. We can design a cover for you, which can also include spine details.

Wire binding

Holes are punched along the edge of the pages and a strong wire is threaded through to form the spine.  This is ideal for product catalogues, instruction manuals and cookery books which can folded flat and used time and time again.
